I live west of Denver in a wood-sided house nestled in the beautiful
Rocky Mountains. The scenery is breath-taking and nearly every day
deer, fox, and chipmunks visit us. Living in such an incredible
setting makes it easy to find the inspiration I need to be creative
in my work.
Since I was a young child, I always had a great passion for art.
My 7th grade art teacher greatly encouraged me to pursue my artistic
talents. However, when I graduated from high school, I was deeply
discouraged because I didn’t feel that I could pursue my love
and make a decent living as well. Instead, I enrolled in a business
college and received a degree in accounting. For nearly 7 years,
I worked with numbers in the corporate world, but I was never really
happy.
The purchase of a home computer changed my life. I was immediately
addicted and started taking online classes in graphic arts. I knew
that I had finally found a way to make my dream of working as an
artist come true. With the incredible support from my family, I
left the corporate world and enrolled full-time at the local community
college in the Web design/graphic arts program. Today, I am running
my own successful Web design business and doing what I love to more
than anything else in the world. I also teach several online classes

I have two boys, David, age 14 and Cody, age 10, who bring me an
incredible amount of joy and happiness. Our family is made up of
two cats, Dopey and Teddy Bear; a bearded dragon named Scooter;
and a husky-mix named Laska.
